Overview
The Climate Registry, in partnership with Climate Action Reserve and Georgetown Climate Center, will support a subnational U.S. delegation traveling to Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, to attend COP27, in November 2022. The annual conference is the largest forum for businesses, governments, and nonprofits to convene around the issue of climate change. The delegation will showcase clean energy and climate action, as well as momentum at the state level. (Substrategy: Multilateral)

This grant will provide resources to assist with the development of better governance and institutional arrangements in the Climate Registry, a non-profit dedicated to helping US states and Canadian provinces measure, report and verify their greenhouse gas emissions.
