Overview
The Texas Defense Resource Project is a resource for public defenders, panel attorneys, solo practitioners, and other advocates involved in representing the accused in pregnancy-related cases, as well as health care and legal providers seeking clarity in their day-to-day work. It is a fast-acting network of defenders statewide to respond to the criminalization of pregnancy outcomes. The project provides Texas-specific expertise to national legal and reproductive health, rights, and justice organizations and is building a network of trustworthy and knowledgeable groups and individuals.
