Overview
This renewal grant would support Sustainable Northwest’s efforts to implement a landmark agreement to remove four dams on the Klamath River by 2020. The agreement was forged between ranchers, farmers, Native American tribes, and commercial and sport salmon fishermen, and is unique to salmon restoration efforts in the West. The grant would provide ongoing staff support to many of the agreement signatories and important expertise on river restoration.
