The State Educational Technology Directors Association is an organization composed of member states and school districts that work to build and increase the capacity of school leaders to improve education through technology policy and practice. The association will continue to advance the OER movement and institutionalize it in K–12 education, emphasizing the role of the states, including state education agencies, by raising awareness and providing technical assistance. This work will promote mainstream adoption of OER in K–12 and build leadership capacity for OER at state and national levels.
for the Smarter Balanced Digital Library  
State Educational Technology Directors Association is a public charity devoted to assisting states in strategic planning for using educational technology to improve learning. The Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium (SBAC) is a collaboration of states developing an assessment system designed to measure the full depth and breadth of the Common Core State Standards. This grant would enable SBAC to help teachers better utilize the Smarter Balanced Digital Library to incorporate the Common Core standards into their instruction, and to evaluate, in real-time during instruction, the degree to which students are mastering the content.
