Grants to this Grantee
for the Public Impact Research project
The Stanford Institute for Higher Education Research examines contemporary planning and policy issues across higher education sectors within the United States. This grant supports the Public Impact Research project, which focuses on the increasing centrality of university research that aims to solve pressing societal problems through partnerships that engage external collaborators, including lay experts. To understand the opportunities and risks associated with these collaborations, the study analyzes related changes in university discourse and infrastructure, as well as faculty research practices and outcomes from selected projects.
for support of the Regulation, Evaluation, and Governance Lab
The Regulation, Evaluation, and Governance Lab (RegLab) at Stanford University partners with government agencies to design and evaluate programs, policies, and technologies that modernize government and restore trust in governance. RegLab is an interdisciplinary team of legal experts, data scientists, social scientists, and engineers who are passionate about building an evidence base and high-impact demonstration projects for better government. for the New Voices in Access to Justice convening
Founded in 2008, the Deborah L. Rhode Center on the Legal Profession at Stanford Law School advances the profession through research, policy and advocacy, teaching, and public programs. This grant supports a one-day convening at Stanford Law School sponsored by the Rhode Center: New Voices in Access to Justice. This gathering aims to bring a new wave of scholars with broad subject-matter expertise into the already lively academic conversation on the regulation of legal services and access to civil justice.
