Overview
Arizona’s Sonoran Desert is home to some of the most diverse animal and plant species in western North America. This renewal grant will support the Sonoran Institute’s efforts to secure policies that will better protect public land and free-flowing rivers, and promote the development of carefully sited renewable energy projects. The institute will use funds from the grant to educate federal and state policymakers and engage a broad array of constituencies.
