Overview
Solar United Neighbors (SUN) brings more Americans into the climate movement and helps them directly benefit from recent federal climate investments by going solar and electrifying their homes and vehicles. SUN will help deliver on the promise made in the Inflation Reduction Act of expanding rooftop solar by 7.5 million additional homes by 2032 by scaling the organization’s national Solar Help Desk and expanding its solar bulk-purchasing program. SUN will also supercharge the rank of solar advocates nationwide through their solar army, building grassroots support for increased solar deployment with the goal of growing from 360,000 members to 1,000,000 by the end of 2023.
