Society of Environmental Journalists

The Society of Environmental Journalists is the largest North American membership association of professional journalists dedicated to more and better coverage of environment-related issues through high-quality, objective, and independent journalism. The society is a nonpartisan nonprofit that strives to help working journalists better understand the complexities of covering natural resources and the environment. This grant will support their collaboration on a critical minerals institute, which will work to strengthen the quality, quantity, and reach of robust and independent reporting by qualified journalists and credible news organizations on the extraction of critical minerals in the Southwestern United States.
