Overview
The Society of Environmental Journalists is the only North American membership association of professional journalists dedicated to more and better coverage of environment-related issues through high-quality, objective, and independent journalism. The Society’s Fund for Environmental Journalism was established in 2011 to invest in public-service reporting on the environment and the journalists who produce it, and support development and dissemination of significant coverage that otherwise could not be completed. This project grant will assist the Fund in supporting the Institute for Journalism and Natural Resources, which will organize a reporting trip to Bristol Bay, Alaska.
