Overview
Civity’s vision and work is creating a culture of belonging for everyone. Civity trains and coaches community leaders to intentionally foster relationships of respect and empathy between people who see each other as different. With this grant, Civity will support diverse members of fossil fuel-dependent communities to form relationships enabling them to work together in a “just transition” toward resilient and environmentally sustainable new economies. Civity is housed within the Social Good Fund; this grant will provide flexible support for Civity's work.

Peacock Rebellion, a sponsored project of Social Good Fund, is a San Francisco Bay Area arts group dedicated to building cultures of safety and healing. Its programs are informed by the needs, creativity, and leadership of queer and transgender BIPOC artists, providing relevant services and supports, including professional and creative development opportunities, advocacy trainings, and technical assistance to a wide range of artists. This grant advances the Performing Arts Program’s Artists strategy by supporting Peacock Rebellion’s efforts to ensure trans BIPOC artists throughout the region have equitable access to relevant services.

Peacock Rebellion, a sponsored project of Social Good Fund, is a San Francisco Bay Area arts group dedicated to building cultures of safety and healing. Its programs are informed by the needs, creativity, and leadership of queer and transgender BIPOC artists, providing relevant services and supports to Bay Area artists including project funding and presentation, professional development opportunities, advocacy trainings, and technical assistance. Peacock Rebellion also provides consultation services to local artists and organizations seeking to better serve historically disinvested populations. This grant advances the program’s Artists strategy by supporting Peacock Rebellion’s efforts to ensure trans BIPOC artists throughout the region have equitable access to relevant services.
