Silicon Valley Creates (formerly Arts Council Silicon Valley) is the largest nonprofit arts council in California, providing a comprehensive suite of funding, technical assistance, and marketing services to more than 650 local arts and cultural organizations, and individual artists throughout Santa Clara County. The organization has been through a multi-year period of leadership and programmatic transition, and is now building its capacity for sustainability, focusing on product relevance, leadership quality, the funding model, and targeted marketing. Renewed support would enable the organization to continue its goal to build community through arts and creativity.

Silicon Valley Creates, better known as SVCreates, is a regional arts service organization whose mission is to accelerate Silicon Valley’s creative culture. Focused on the creative sector of the South Bay, including San Mateo and Santa Clara counties, it builds capacity, raises value and visibility, and increases access to arts and creativity. SVCreates supports more than 650 organizations and their communities with programs that provide grants, technical assistance, incubator initiatives, convenings, award programs, and publications. Support of SVCreates advances the Performing Arts Program’s Communities strategy by providing resources to a diverse range of artistic and cultural practices in the Silicon Valley area.
