Silicon Valley Creates is the largest nonprofit arts council in California, providing a comprehensive suite of programs that provide funding, capacity building, and promotional services that support the creative sector throughout Santa Clara County. This grant will support the development of the Creative Center at Japantown Square, a 5.75-acre mixed-use development that will provide a permanent home for more than two dozen artists and arts organizations, including at least three Performing Arts Program grantee organizations.

A program of Silicon Valley Creates, genARTS Silicon Valley is a social and professional network for emerging arts and cultural leaders. genARTS’ networking events, professional development workshops, and award programs help prepare emerging professionals to serve as the next generation of arts leaders, and contribute to a vibrant arts community in Silicon Valley. Renewed funding will help genARTS Silicon Valley develop its first strategic plan, codify its volunteer leadership structure, and continue to provide programs for its more than 250 members.
