Sacred Places Institute for Indigenous Peoples (SPI) is an Indigenous-led, community-based project located in the ancestral homelands of the Tongva People in Los Angeles. A fiscally sponsored project of the Sierra Health Foundation, SPI advocates for environmental, social, and cultural justice, and works locally and across California to build the capacity of Native Nations and Indigenous Peoples to protect sacred lands, waters, and cultures.
