The San Francisco Jewish Film Festival, doing business as the Jewish Film Institute (JFI), expands understanding of Jewish life through film, media, and dialogue. Best known for its annual summer festival that attracts more than 40,000 attendees to venues throughout the Bay Area, the organization also delivers a suite of year-round programs that target young adults, seniors, and filmmakers. Online programs, including JFI On Demand and Online Shorts, make more than 300 films available for streaming and download. Support for JFI aligns with the Performing Arts Program’s Communities strategy.
