San Francisco Jazz Organization (SFJAZZ) cemented its reputation as the Bay Area’s premier jazz presenter when it opened SFJAZZ Center in early 2013, the first stand-alone facility in the country built specifically for jazz. The majority of its programs take place in the new Center, reaching 80,000 people a year, including the annual multi-week Jazz Festival; a spring season of concerts; films; education events; and the Summerfest series of free public concerts. The facility also houses a digital lab and dedicated classrooms and is available as a rental house to other artists and organizations. With a vibrant leadership team and enhanced visibility, renewed support for SFJAZZ would enable it to continue on its growth trajectory.
