Overview
The San Francisco Girls Chorus is a center for choral music education and performance for girls and young women aged five to 18. Nearly 500 students participate in its Preparatory Chorus; in-school programs; four-level Chorus School; and Chorissima, the organization’s concert, recording, and touring ensemble that performs with the San Francisco Symphony, San Francisco Opera, and other community partners. Support for San Francisco Girls Chorus advances the Performing Arts Program’s Arts Education Strategy through its Program Delivery substrategy.
