Grants to this Grantee
for the Great Communities Collaborative
The San Francisco Foundation is the host of the Great Communities Collaborative, a joint funders effort whose vision is defined as providing communities with affordable housing, with accessible transit and efficient infrastructure, with community-driven land uses, and where low-income communities and communities of color stay and thrive in the region.
for the Great Communities Collaborative
The San Francisco Foundation is the host of the Great Communities Collaborative, a joint founders effort to implement low-carbon and equitable transit-oriented development in the San Francisco Bay Area. The main goals of the Collaborative are to change the trajectory of urban growth in the Bay Area and be consistent with the 80 percent reduction of emissions in the state by 2050. The organization will convene experts and practitioners, and provide grants to local organizations to ensure the implementation of Plan Bay Area, which ties land use and transportation planning to the implementation of California’s climate change goal.
