San Francisco Classical Voice provides web-based coverage and critical reviews of performing arts events in the Bay Area as an independent arts journalism outlet. After several years of strategic planning, market research, and leadership transitions, its focus remains firmly on providing excellent critical reviews of Bay Area music and dance events, while offering a platform for ticket purchases, event calendars, and music downloads. Recognizing the importance of attracting new audiences, renewed support would assist the organization in expanding from an online-only realm to in-person contact through strategic partnerships with arts organizations to provide free event tickets, deliver arts criticism writing workshops, and launch a Bay Area Music Educator Award.

San Francisco Classical Voice provides web-based coverage of music events in the Bay Area. After a major overhaul in the past two years, it has adopted an overall strategy to build community around great music using high-quality independent content, presented in relevant and useful ways, to distinct and diverse audience segments, using the power of digital media technology and strategic partnerships in the community. Working to attract new audiences, the organization offers rich coverage of classical music but also is broadening its content to include other genres, such as jazz, flamenco, bluegrass, gospel, and world music.
