Overview
Rural Investment to Protect our Environment (RIPE) believes that agricultural producers and communities benefit from a system that aligns economic incentives with voluntary practices that enhance our soil, water, and climate. RIPE advances producer-led bipartisan dialogues on national climate policies that would enable agricultural producers to earn a reasonable return for the environmental services they provide to the public. Over the next year, RIPE will work to expand its coalition of agricultural producers; align with supply chain companies and conservation organizations; and educate farmers, ranchers, and policymakers on climate-smart practices and policies.
