Overview
The nation’s presidential centers have come together in unprecedented partnership with the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, the Karsh Institute of Democracy at the University of Virginia, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, and the Partnership for American Democracy to launch More Perfect — a national campaign to align American citizens and institutions around a shared vision for our democracy and to marshal all the energy and resources it will take to achieve that future together. This grant supports the More Perfect Initiative. The initiative will engage Americans of all ages, demographics, and ideologies around five Sustainable Democracy Goals: Universal Civic Learning, National Service and Volunteering, Bridging Divides, Fair Elections and More Representative and Responsive Governance, and Access to Trusted News and Information.

for the Global Commons Alliance
The Global Commons Alliance is a network of organizations working together to ensure that societies and the global economy thrive, sustained by healthy global commons, on a stable planet. The alliance focuses on science-based targets, and helps promote a global understanding of the true magnitude of the multifaceted transformations we need to safeguard the global commons. for the Platform for Agriculture and Climate Transformation
The Platform for Agriculture and Climate Transformation, or PACT, works to dramatically reduce net greenhouse emissions from the U.S. agricultural sector. PACT’s work includes efforts to create a policy framework that rewards farmers for integrating climate-friendly practices; translate corporate commitments into climate-smart practices; and support the research and innovation needed to address emissions in the agricultural sector.
