For The Fund For Shared Insight Donor Collaborative

Overview
Fund for Shared Insight is a funder collaborative. Its goal is that funders and nonprofits will be meaningfully more connected to each other, and to the people and communities it seeks to help — and more responsive to their input and feedback. Shared Insight has grown since its inception five years ago. Today it includes 13 core funders and 81 additional funders who collectively contribute roughly $8 million each year (on average) to a pooled fund at Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors. To date, the Fund has made 244 grants to 242 organizations totaling $22.7 million, and is committed to rigorous measurement and sharing what it learns.

for the Collaborative for Gender + Reproductive Equity judicial work to advance reproductive equity
This grant will support a project to work through state courts to better support gender, reproductive, and racial equity and advance a more inclusive democracy. The project will provide grants to state-based organizations to conduct nonpartisan state-level pipeline, education, and mobilization work. (Strategy: U.S. Reproductive Equity)
for Africa No Filter with a focus on sexual reproductive health rights and gender equality
Africa No Filter (ANF) aims to shift harmful narratives within and about Africa. Through this donor collaborative, ANF envisions a world where the prevailing narratives about Africa are reflective of a dynamic and evolving continent. This grant to Rockefeller Philanthropic Advisors will enable ANF to strengthen its existing focal areas and launch a new campaign to shift harmful narratives about gender and sexual and reproductive health and rights through its Storify Africa program. (Strategy: Global Reproductive Equity)
