Overview
The California Education Policy Fund will continue to provide strategic support to California nonprofits that have strong track records in state policy work and target underserved students. A second round of competitive grant applications will be solicited in March, with winners announced by the end of July. Rockefeller will work with a consultant to design and conduct an evaluation to inform continuous improvement of the Fund’s work.

Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors (RPA) is a global nonprofit that accelerates philanthropy in pursuit of a just world. Founded in 2002, RPA has facilitated more than $4 billion in grantmaking to more than 70 countries and currently advises on and manages more than $500 million in annual giving by individuals, families, foundations, and corporations. RPA also serves as a fiscal sponsor for more than 100 projects, providing governance, management, and operational infrastructure to support their charitable purposes. In 2023, RPA launched the Foresight and Futures Initiative to help philanthropy institutionalize practices offered by the disciplines of foresight and futurism. This grant is for project support of the Foresight and Futures Initiative.
