Overview
Fund for Shared Insight is a funder collaborative devoted to creating pathways for foundations to listen to the people and communities they seek to serve through their giving. Since its launch in 2014, Shared Insight has grown to include nine core funding partners, eight "sidecar" contributors, and 116 additional Listen4Good co-funders; it has provided $29.3 million in funding to 528 organizations. An ongoing evaluation by ORS Impact continues to show that Shared Insight has strengthened nonprofit feedback practice and influenced the dialogue in the sector about the power of feedback to inform and improve nonprofits’ and funders’ work. This grant provides flexible, annual support to Shared Insight.

Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors (RPA) is a global nonprofit that accelerates philanthropy in pursuit of a just world. Founded in 2002, RPA has facilitated more than $4 billion in grantmaking to more than 70 countries and currently advises on and manages more than $500 million in annual giving by individuals, families, foundations, and corporations. RPA also serves as a fiscal sponsor for more than 100 projects, providing governance, management, and operational infrastructure to support their charitable purposes. In 2023, RPA launched the Foresight and Futures Initiative to help philanthropy institutionalize practices offered by the disciplines of foresight and futurism. This grant is for project support of the Foresight and Futures Initiative.
