Overview
Retro Report is an independent nonprofit newsroom that creates documentaries and classroom resources for teachers around the country. This grant will support Retro Report’s first annual Civic Engagement Challenge. The project is designed to start a movement that connects young people — regardless of differences in their political beliefs — to issues and actions in their own communities, and to help them understand that being civically engaged extends beyond voting every four years.
