Overview
The Resources Legacy Fund (RLF) is a Sacramento-based non-profit organization that helps philanthropic institutions invest strategically in California conservation projects. Using a range of approaches, experts and tools, RLF works nimbly, creatively and efficiently to accomplish conservation goals. It has pioneered unique collaborations between public and philanthropic institutions in designing and implementing natural resources initiatives on land and in the oceans.

for Bear Ears Inter-Tribal Coalition communications
This Organizational Effectiveness grant supports the communications needs of the Bears Ears Inter-Tribal Coalition, for which the Resources Legacy Fund serves as fiscal sponsor. Leaders from five tribes founded the coalition in 2015, representing a historic consortium of sovereign tribal nations united in the effort to conserve the Bears Ears cultural landscape. Resources Legacy Fund works for the conservation of land, ocean, and water resources; climate change resilience; and conservation funding and policies that benefit all communities.
