Overview
The drought in California and the rest of the West has highlighted the inadequacies of current water policy in Western states and at the federal level to respond effectively. This grant to Resolve, Inc, will support a collaboratively funded effort comprised by several foundations termed the Water Funder's Initiative that seeks to better understand how state and federal drought policies currently affect urban dwellers, agriculture, and the environment and what changes are needed to ensure balance between the three sectors.

Grants to this Grantee
for the transition minerals accelerator map
RESOLVE forges sustainable solutions to critical social, health, and environmental challenges by creating innovative partnerships where they are least likely and most needed. The first objective of this project is to identify and understand the underlying reasons why key transition minerals projects are stalled, and lay the foundation for multistakeholder collaboration to unlock them. The second objective is to identify potential pathways and solutions to help build stakeholder and community understanding, and support opportunities to advance responsible, multiparty projects.
