This grant would provide support for the Public Health Institute’s Adolescent Sexual Health Policy Project, which seeks to promote the sexual and reproductive health of adolescents and young adults, including reducing the overall rates of teen births and as well as reducing demographic and geographic health disparities. The Project produces credible, policy-oriented research and communicates it effectively to the media, policy makers, and advocates. The analysis of teen birth rates by legislative district as well as the cost of teen births has generated considerable media interest.
