Project Evident

Project Evident works with practitioners who are leaders and staff at nonprofits, school districts, and public agencies to gather actionable data and evidence in order to generate stronger, more meaningful, and more equitable outcomes for communities. It provides assistance and tools for practitioners to learn how to improve outcomes and understand what works (and what doesn’t), and for whom under what conditions. By focusing on practitioners while also engaging funders, policymakers, researchers, and communities, Project Evident is working to shift the culture and practices of evidence building. Project Evident is also partnering with experts in technology, philanthropy, policy, and social innovation to advance knowledge and adoption of artificial intelligence among nonprofits, philanthropies, and school districts so that technological transformation will be geared toward better, more equitable outcomes. This grant provides general operating support.
