Population Association of America

For Membership Development, Travel Grants Program, And International Outreach

The Population Association of America is the association of professional demographers in the United States and fosters interdisciplinary research on the causes and impact of population dynamics and implications for policies and programs. This grant would continue support for the Association’s competitive travel grant program that brings scholars from developing countries to the annual meetings and provides editorial support for them to publish their conference submissions in a peer-reviewed journal. The project would also support the Association’s initiative to strengthen population science associations in developing regions.
