Overview
The Philanthropy Roundtable is a national association that supports donors to achieve their charitable goals and protects their freedom to give as they choose. The Roundtable’s conference, programming, guidebooks, and other resources help philanthropists learn how to practice philanthropy more effectively so that their giving will help solve pressing problems. The Roundtable is an important creator and disseminator of knowledge about effective philanthropic practice and reaches an important and distinct set of foundations.

Grants to this Grantee
for support of the Civic Education Program
Since 1991, the Philanthropy Roundtable has served individual philanthropists and foundations that are refining their philanthropic strategies to maximize the impact of their resources, as well as emerging donors and entrepreneurs who are developing their philanthropic plans. In 2019, the group will launch a new Civic Education Program for donors. Through individual meetings, conferences, and publications, the Philanthropy Roundtable will create a vibrant program that will help generate significant philanthropic investments to improve civics education. This project grant will help support the launch of the new program.
