for the Equitable and Just Climate Forum  
This grant supports the Equitable and Just Climate Forum (EJCF). In particular, this grant supports regranting to environmental justice groups participating in EJCF to build their capacity. The goal of the forum is to continue to support alignment between national environmental groups, the environmental justice community, and other partners, to co-create bold and equitable national policy ideas that foster an inclusive, just, and pollution-free economy. These ideas will lay the foundation for effective and inclusive policy development in 2021. (Substrategy: U.S. National Policy)
for the Clean Cars Campaign  
This grant supports the Clean Cars Campaign within the Partnership Project. The Clean Cars Campaign is comprised of organizations ranging from environmental, consumer protection, and health to national security and business. The campaign’s focus is to defend federal car fuel economy and greenhouse gas emissions standards and plan for advancing these regulations in the future. The campaign is focused on educating the public on where major automakers stand with respect to their support of strong clean car standards in the U.S. Maintaining and advancing strong federal clean car standards is a key element of the Climate Initiative’s transportation substrategy.
