Overview
The Palo Alto History Museum is a nonprofit that is developing the first history museum for the Palo Alto and Stanford community. Housed in the historic Roth Building, the museum will be a new cultural destination in Palo Alto for anyone interested in learning about this community and ongoing innovative efforts. Its participatory exhibits, programs, and events will explore how the past has shaped today’s community. The museum project was conceived and initiated by four long-established organizations: the Palo Alto Historical Association, University South Neighborhood Association, Palo Alto Stanford Heritage, and the Museum of American Heritage. It is endorsed by the Woman’s Club of Palo Alto, the Palo Alto Chamber of Commerce, the Stanford Historical Society, and Palo Alto Housing. The museum is growing its planning, preparations, and operations.
