Overview
The Pacific Council is focused on policy issues of special resonance to the West Coast. Its members constitute a diverse network of leaders from a broad range of professions and business sectors who are heavily invested in understanding international affairs and affecting public policy. The Council provides them with opportunities to enhance their knowledge of global issues and their effectiveness in the international arena. With this tie-off grant in the coming year, the Council would, among other initiatives, develop a Global California project to diagnose the state’s current position within the global context and recommend how it can best manage its destiny.
