Grants to this Grantee
for the Take on America series
OZY Media was launched in 2013 and is an international online magazine focusing on news, arts, and culture. This grant will support the production of the first four of 20 live town hall meetings and their accompanying video series, "Take on America." The series will take place across the U.S., covering some of the most pressing issues of our time — as seen through the lens of race. With the aim of exploring the diversity of opinions among groups, the series will provide an insider look into the conversations these communities have with one another leading up to the 2018 midterm elections, and ultimately the 2020 election. The "Take on America" series will be disseminated widely to educate communities and classrooms across the country on pressing issues of race.
