Overview
Oxfam South Africa is a newly independent organization and is the first African affiliate in the global Oxfam Confederation. With this project support, Oxfam South Africa will strengthen citizens’ capacity to hold the South African government and corporations accountable for more just, transparent, and responsive policy positions both at home and abroad. Activities will include mobilizing civil society groups and communities to hold the South African government to its commitments in the Open Government Partnership and to support South Africa as global chair of the Partnership in 2016.
