Grants to this Grantee
for general operating support
The Open Government Partnership is a multistakeholder initiative with more than 75 national and 100 local government members that aims to secure concrete commitments from governments to promote transparency, empower citizens, and fight corruption. Over the past three years, the partnership expanded its subnational program from a pilot cohort of 15 local governments to over 100, which will result in more than 500 concrete policy reforms. It continued its Break the Roles campaign to center gender in the governance commitments of member governments, and launched a new campaign advocating for Open Response + Open Recovery as member governments respond to COVID-19. The partnership will begin implementing its 2023-28 strategy while increasing revenue from member country contributions. (Strategy: Inclusive Governance)
