Support for research related to the security, validity, and legitimacy of the 2020 electionThis project grant to Ohio State University will support research related to the security, validity, and legitimacy of the 2020 election to be conducted by the Election Law @ Moritz program, directed by Dr. Ned Foley, a leading legal scholar on elections, at the Moritz College of Law. The research will focus on the unique challenges of, and possible solutions to, conducting the presidential election in a year with a pandemic, extreme political polarization, extensive changes in election administration rules and procedures, and the possibility of close outcomes and disputed elections.
