Northern California Grantmakers

This renewal grant will support the third phase of the Full Cost Project, a collaborative effort led by Philanthropy California (an alliance of Northern California Grantmakers, Southern California Grantmakers, and San Diego Grantmakers). The project seeks to elevate the roots of practices that tend to underfund real/full costs in nonprofit organizations, to generate a common language and resources to support deeper discussion and movement toward real cost funding practices in philanthropy, and to develop tools/trainings to increase financial literacy among funders and grantees to ensure accurate assessment of the real costs associated with supporting robust, sustainable organizations capable of delivering measurable outcomes.
