The New York Hall of Science (NYSCI) is an interactive science center and a national leader in the field of informal science education. NYSCI proposes to work with a board of distinguished advisors and the Education and Cognitive Sciences Department at IBM Research on a two-year project. This project will combine NYSCI’s tools with IBM’s cognitive computing technology to develop a digital tutor that coaches and assesses deeper learning competencies.
