Overview
The New Venture Fund’s project to protect America’s outdoor heritage seeks to educate policymakers and the public on the importance of maintaining key conservation laws and policies. This grant would support efforts to develop educational materials about the value of public lands, distribute the results of polls conducted on attitudes about public land protection, demonstrate the economic value of public lands, and identify new and diverse constituencies that support public land protection.

Grants to this Grantee
for support of The League
This grant will support The League, which uses narrative and culture change campaigns to create a cultural environment supportive of reproductive rights and justice. Using audience segmentation developed through a rigorous research process that resulted in "Story at Scale", they will reach "persuadable" groups with targeted campaigns designed to shift their perspectives and support of issues related to gender justice, including reproductive rights. (Substrategy: Advocacy)
for the Evergreen Collaborative
This grant supports the Evergreen Collaborative: a new initiative to elevate the urgency and positive opportunities of bold climate action. The collaborative’s work will focus initially on policies to drive new public investment and strong regulatory standards that advance climate solutions. This work is informed by the current economic crisis triggered by global pandemic, trade wars over oil, and the failure to invest in American infrastructure and a strong social safety net. (Substrategy: U.S. National Policy)
