Overview
This grant will support the Climate and Clean Energy Equity Fund’s organizational development activities to prepare for the successful transition from its fiscal sponsor by 2023. The Equity Fund will engage a consultant to review and assess the organization's systems, structures, and people management practices and to develop a set of recommendations and an implementation roadmap. The grant will also support the search to recruit and hire a Chief Operating Officer which is a new position at the Equity Fund. (Substrategy: U.S. National Policy)

The Groundwork Collaborative, a fiscally sponsored project of New Venture Fund, is a think tank and advocacy project that starts new conversations on the economy by crafting stories about how the economy works that are accessible, intuitive, and compelling and are told through diverse spokespeople who are credible, plainspoken, and fearless. This grant supports Groundwork Collaborative’s work to grow support for the IRS to modernize its operations, build a direct tax filing option, and demonstrate that a well-funded government can play a critical role in strengthening our democracy.
