Overview
This grant would support two funds that are aimed at helping to build a stronger, more effective reproductive justice movement by strengthening grassroots organizing and policy change efforts led by and serving low-income women, women of color, and transgender people. The Catalyst Fund provides matching challenge grants to a number of small reproductive justice organizations to help increase overall resources and support from a range of donors. Grants to this Grantee
for support of The League
This grant will support The League, which uses narrative and culture change campaigns to create a cultural environment supportive of reproductive rights and justice. Using audience segmentation developed through a rigorous research process that resulted in "Story at Scale", they will reach "persuadable" groups with targeted campaigns designed to shift their perspectives and support of issues related to gender justice, including reproductive rights. (Substrategy: Advocacy)
for the Zero Now Fund
The Zero Now Fund aims to seed and fund campaigns in cities and states throughout the U.S. to rapidly accelerate transport electrification. This year’s grant supports two campaigns: (a) Secure commitments from cities to fully electrify urban freight by 2030 and (b) advance electric vehicle policies in some states. This grant is a critical element of our strategy to accelerate the share of electric vehicles in the U.S. in order to decarbonize transportation. (Substrategy: Transport Electrification)
