for the Open Education program at the Scholarly Publishing and Academic Resources Coalition
The Scholarly Publishing and Academic Resources Coalition (SPARC), housed in the New Venture Fund, is a global coalition committed to making open the default for research and education. SPARC’s work to advance open education over the next three years will focus on empowering academic libraries, promoting competition in the marketplace, fostering structural change through policy, and facilitating inclusive community engagement with equity at the core. This grant serves the Open Education Strategy goals to develop capacity in postsecondary educational systems to leverage open education as a means to improve teaching and learning, and to build a more equitable and inclusive open education field. (Substrategy: Systems.)
