for general operating support
Founded in 1970, the Native American Rights Fund is the oldest and largest nonprofit legal organization asserting and defending the rights of American Indian tribes, organizations, and individuals nationwide. Its core priorities include protecting natural resources and educating the public about Indian rights, laws, and issues. The fund works with Tribal Nations nationwide, including tribes seeking to defend Bears Ears National Monument, restore the Klamath River, and protect Bristol Bay in Alaska.
