for building public will, agency and, voice for equity and excellence in education
The National Urban League works to improve life and educational outcomes for underserved communities, families, and students. With this grant, the group will advance deeper learning by building local and state coalitions of education stakeholders and advocates to support changes in practice, policy, and education investments. The Urban League expects that the influence of these coalitions will lead to improved teaching and learning conditions and outcomes; and further, that the agenda setting and decision-making process will be more inclusive of those who previously have been underserved and disengaged.
