Overview
A renewed grant to National Public Radio (NPR) would support the organization’s ongoing development of original, objective news and information programming. As many print and broadcast journalism outlets struggle, NPR has continued to build its audience, reaching more than 27 million listeners each month, and using technology and social media to adapt to changes in journalism and expand its reach. A renewal grant would extend the Foundation’s longstanding support for NPR, which dates back to 1988.
