National Council of Nonprofits

For IT Website And Communication Planning

Overview
The National Council of Nonprofits (NCN) works to protect and strengthen nonprofits in the United States. It is a national network of state nonprofit associations, linking over 25,000 nonprofits. NCN's primary way of engaging with constituents is through its website. Their web traffic has tripled since 2010 and now averages 62,000 unique visitors and 150,000 page views/month. NCN proactively sought an OE grant from the Philanthropy program n to redesign and upgrade the site not only to handle current traffic but to build for future traffic and increased functionality. This will build capacity across NCN's work, but notably will help with the full integration of CLPI into NCN (a merger we supported with a grant last year).
