Overview
Known nationally and internationally for its influence on jazz in the United States and around the world, the Monterey Jazz Festival hosts three days of performances each September for 38,000 participants. In addition to the festival, Monterey Jazz Festival provides a slate of jazz education programs that provide learning, mentoring, and performance opportunities, most at no cost, for more than 3,000 middle and high school students each year.
