Overview
Montana has over six million acres of unprotected Forest Service roadless land. These lands support abundant populations of wildlife including elk, grizzly bears and wolves and provide clean water for communities around the state. The Montana WIlderness Association uses research, education, outreach and volunteer time in its work to secure permanent protection for these fragile roadless lands. This general support grant would back the Association's efforts to safeguard the state's roadless heritage.
