Overview
Marin Theatre Company is a regional theater primarily serving Marin County that also draws audiences from the greater Bay Area. The organization offers a season of six mainstage productions reaching more than 40,000 people each year. Each season, it develops and produces new plays by American playwrights, regularly presenting the work of diverse playwrights who have historically been under-represented in American theater. The company also administers two nationally recognized playwriting awards, new play readings, and workshops. Each year, more than 5,000 students participate in the organization’s education programs.
